Nox Ngo

They/Them

Art Therapist and Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Nox is a genderfluid Chinese American Art Therapist and Marriage & Family Therapist. Art has been their saving grace in a world full of twists and turns, allowing them an expression of self that they often were not able to have in everyday life.

Nox has person-centered and strength-based approaches as they believe everyone has the capacity to be and grow into whoever they want to be. They utilize mindfulness, psychoeducation, CBT and aspects of DBT (minus the worksheets). They have worked with children from ages 4-13 as well as adults 18+ and they are excited about filling the gap of ages 13-18. They specialize in Anxiety, Depression, BPD, OCD, Neurodivergence and much more. They love working with all types of art mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpting, dungeons and dragons, and play therapy in art therapy. They would love the opportunity to offer mediums such as armor crafting, wig styling, makeup, facepaint, and costume making within the art therapy space in the future.

Nox is a self-identified nerd and loves using humor in their work. They love anime, manga, superhero movies, mahjong, and video games and enjoy exploring aspects of them within the art therapy space. When they are not at work, you can find them working on some sort of craft or drawing while also relaxing with their senior puppo, Cocoa Puffs. They also have a crazy amount of Cinnamoroll plushes which may or may not infiltrate the therapy space.
