Ana Vargas
She/Her
Intake Coordinator & Administrative Assistant
Ana is EBAT's bilingual, Spanish-speaking intake coordinator. Ana brings several years of experience supporting individuals, families, and clinicians within mental health practices. Through her work in intake and practice operations, she has come to appreciate just how important that first interaction can be, especially when someone may already feel unsure or overwhelmed about reaching out for support.
As the first point of contact at East Bay Art Therapy, Ana enjoys taking the time to listen, learn about what brings you to therapy, answer your questions, and help make the process of getting connected to a therapist feel as easy as possible. She hopes that you feel welcomed, heard, and comfortable asking questions along the way.
Ana grew up in the Bay Area and has a background in Child Development, which has shaped her appreciation for working with children and families. She is especially excited to be part of a team that uses creativity and connection in such meaningful ways.
Outside of work, Ana is a mom and enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and finding time for the little things that help keep life balanced.
